Letter W--Whales and Worms

For our first day of the Letter W we opened up Preschool by reading a huge book about WHALES

 After reading the book we made our own whales.

 Paper bag

 You can use either newspaper or an air bag from leftover packaging

 Then we painted the whales and added eyes and smiles.

 While I cleaned up and got a snack ready the kids WATCHED The Talking Letter Factory.

 After the movie we talked about one more things that starts with W...WORMS

Using a hole punch I started a small hole.

Then I cut the hole bigger to fit a little finger.
We made apples with a WORM hole in them.

Our fingers were the worm.

To finish off the day we WACKED oreos to make the dirt for our gummy WORMS
